			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;"><a href="http://www.pottersforpeace.org" target="_blank"><strong>Potters for Peace</strong></a> è un&#8217;associazione americana <strong>senza fine di lucro</strong> composta da <strong>vasai</strong>, <strong>educatori</strong>, <strong>tecnici della ceramica</strong> oltre che da <strong>volontari</strong> e <strong>sostenitori</strong>. L&#8217;associazione è stata fondata in <strong>Nicaragua</strong> nel <strong>1986</strong> ed è attiva prevalentemente in <strong>America Centrale</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Lo scopo dell&#8217;associazione consiste nell&#8217;offrire supporto tecnico, <strong>solidarietà</strong> e risorse ai vasai dei <strong>paesi in via di sviluppo</strong>, sostenendo al tempo stesso le tradizioni ceramiche locali e l&#8217;uso di materiali autoctoni, promuovendo anche la commercializzazione dei prodotti ceramici in un contesto &#8220;equo e solidale&#8221;.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">L&#8217;attività di <a href="http://www.pottersforpeace.org/" target="_blank"><strong>Potters for Peace</strong></a> è ancor più meritoria in quanto la stragrande maggioranza dei vasai in <strong>America Latina</strong> è rappresentata da <strong>giovani donne</strong>, che rappresentano tradizionalmente la fascia più debole e svantaggiata della popolazione.</p>
